No Safety Car Bug

I"m in Monaco In career mode with 103 dificulty and 50% race. I haven't seen 1 SC yet. And there was a lot of crashes, inclunding a Haas staying without a wheel on the racing line in Baku and a 3 car crash with me losing my front wing in turn 4 of australia, but no, not even VSC for those crashes. actullay VSC has only has been deployed only 2 times on my career.

-yes, the SC option is enable
-damage is on simulation

i have the same problem. i havent seen SC so far after 10-15 races i did in F1 2018 so far. I have it enabled, there were crashes, there were cars stopped on the track and near the track, but i havent seen VSC or SC not even once.

At first sorry for my bad english. My problem at Australia (Career Mode difficulty 90%, 50% race) was the Safety Car! Safty Car was out. I was allowed to overtake it (I´m driving a Sauber). So i did. Then there was Magnussen. He was driving on the Track with 60 km/h. Everytime I passed him I have been told to give back the position. Finally I crashed with the Safety Car and gaot a penalty. This sucks. I cancelled the race

I have yet to see a safety car in my career 100% difficulty though im running on the shorter GP weekends

I've had a safety car in baku because of a very strong raining period and again in monaco after Bottas and Leclerc crashing half way up the mauntain. They actually didn't had that many crahses in my races, where a sc would actually make sense, so no problems so far for me after 8 races.

I had a race in spain, where safety car was out like six or seven times. Half of the times i dont even know why. I was at 100% difficulty then, and none of the crashes were caused by me.

I’m 3 races in on 50% race length and if anything the safety car has been too prevalent. 3 safety car and 2 virtual safety car incidents at BOTH Australia and Bahrain for me?

playing carreer on 100% sessions and 80% difficulty, have seen VSC and SC and no bugs with overtaking or staying out too long

Got Vsc in my second and third race and Saftey in my third. But it came out in one lap and came in the same. There were some backmarkers in front of me, but they didnt passed the SC.

I have seen one...first time ever having one and it seemed to function pretty good.I was impressed how well it worked.

Appears you can force a safety car. When you get a notification that a driver has dropped out of the race just use a flashback to the point JUST AFTER the notification was shown. 1st time I flashed back I got a VSC so flash backed again to the same point and then got a full safety car. Tried it again in the next race and exactly the same thing. Then the race after I got a full safety car 1st time!
