Logitech driving Force GT Centering Problem
I have an issue with my DFGT. When I Play arround 10 minutes with a perfectly centered wheel, its getting more and more off-centered. With the Wheel, i am steering slightly to the left and in-game its centered. When I unplug and plug the wheel back in the PC, its the same. Arround 5 to 10 minutes, its centered and then its off-center again. Have you guys any solutions?

what version of the Logitech Profiler are you using??? I use the same wheel and I'm using the final profiler version they came out with...version 5.10...for the DFGT...no issues....I did try a newer version after 5.10 but they started giving me issues..I quickly stopped using it and went back to 5.10...perhaps you are using the newer profiler and that is causing this for you?..

Will the game gonna save my career in the cloud?

I am now three races in the game and it is getting worse I think. At the beginning of China GP my steering wheel was centered perfectly, but 10 laps in it was off center by 6 degrees. I managed to fix it again by removing my steering wheel and reattaching it few times, but it is pretty annoying and my lap times start suffering.

My steering wheel is Logitech Formula Force Ex

MARNEX...you never answered my question...which version of the Logitech Profiler are you USING??????????

My version for the profiler is 5.10, [06/14/2010]. But there is no newer version for my steering wheel (Logitech Formula Force Ex), and I have the same issue as OP
Edit: I hope they fix this in the next patch. It is almost unplayable. Every three laps I have to disconnect/reconnect my steering wheel.

I have a Logitech Driving Force GT wheel and have no problems with the steering centering with my wheel or in game. So it's not an issue with the game, but maybe something mechanically wrong with your individual wheels.

Not a problem with wheel. It works perfectly fine in other games.

same here...my DFGT wheel works great on F1 2018....the reason I ask what version Marnex is using is because I have tried newer versions of the profiler that state they support the DFGT...but they do not...when I began using newer versions of the profiler that is when I began noticing certain issues.

I noticed an interesting thing trying to fix this issue. I downloaded X360CE a program that allows any gamepad to be emulated as a Xbox 360 gamepad. I used it to have my steering wheel emulated as an xbox 360 controller. It did work as F1 2018 detected my steering wheel as an Xbox controller and the centering issue is gone, but it is not playable with it because the program adds quite a lot of input lag and it is super sensitive. However once I minimize the game and turn on the Logitech Profiler, the steering wheel goes off center in the game. What could be the problem here? I am sure that the steering wheel is calibrated properly because it is is not off center when I am in the Logitech profiler settings screen.

I also had this again yesterday. its probably a coinsidence but it seem to happen after i increased the force feedback for the track objects. i can still fix it but unplugging/plugging the wheel back in. Personally i don't believe it to be a fault with the game or with my wheel (from a hardware perspective) but more likely a software/driver issue related to the wheel. when i first got this wheel i had to use the logitec game profile app but on the later versions of the F1 game i haven't needed to and i just launch from Steam. I'll try using the profile app

ALso....run thru all the options and settings on the profiler....re-set everything again....there is an option on it to have the wheel auto-center . I'm wondering if some of you have missed that setting.
Niks Aug 31, 2018 @ 6:40am
I am quite sure I don't have that option on my profiler. But I also do not have the Driving Force GT, but Formula Force Ex wheel. I should maybe make a new thread about it.

Since my Logitech Driving Pro also does weird stuff on every startup of the game, i.e. I quickly have to run a cailbration of the wheel. Try this:

Make sure your steering range in the logitech profiler is set to 360°
(my slider is currently at 362°)
and leave all settings in the game on default - just set the sensitivity to 75.
Check at which level of the sensitivity the wheel turning reaches excactly 100 (steering indicator)

good luck

Here is a screenshot of what I mean. Logitech Profiler shows +0 degrees, while in game the center is off by -2.

Fix this please, it is unplayable with this steering wheel at the moment, even though it is listed as compatible.

And it gets worse the longer I play.
