F1 2018
Logitech G920 no steering resistance
Hi,

I have a logitech G920 wheel but in this game, I don't have any steering resistance. I do have force feedback over the curbs/wind etc,but the actual steering itself has no resistance whatsoever on the wheel. This makes it incredibly difficult to place the car correctly, and I'm unable to feel any under or oversteer. The ingame FF strength setting doesn't seem to have any effect either, just the other settings, curbs etc. will change the strength of those effects in the game.

I have the following settings in the Logitech Gaming software:

- Operating range: tried both 900 and 360, then ajusted steering saturation accordingly
- Sensitivity 50%
- Centring spring in force feedback games is DISABLED
- Centering spring strength 10%

I don't have these issues in any other games (except for F1 2017) like project cars and Assetto Corsa, in these games the wheel works perfectly.

Please advice.

I have a G920 and have issues sometimes with controller. this is what I do, I hope it helps.

1. Pull out USB lead
2. Restart PC
3. Start Steam
4. Plug in USB Lead
5. Once wheel does its spinning thing and has a cuppa start F1 2018

I have noticed if I play Assetto Corsa or Project Cars 1/2 then try another game like F1 or Dirt the wheel has a few ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. If I restart as I have said above all is well.

I can't get it working on Xbox Forza though some races gr8t then it turns itself off or the FFB dies and its a standard wheel :(

I hope this helps.

PS. Turn on the " Centring spring in force feedback games is DISABLED" this could be an issue??? just my thoughts.

Make sure all Logitech Software updated Drivers and Gaming Software.
