the last version with SS was 2013 - likely the reason why you never see it go on sale because it is one of more popular edition in this endless series. UPDATE 2013 is not available for sale any more - unlike all other editions. ♥♥♥♥ code masters

then i have to wait until next year. as every year... don't understand why they do not return this great feauture. Had ever the most fun playing splitscreen with a real person in a room.

But thx for the hint. Put 2014 on my wishlist and will buy it on next sales

split screens were great though, there were so many games that did it on PC & Console

the feature allows sharing of the one pc/console. Nowadays each user needs to purchase a whole console and title if they want to play with another.

If you still have a PS3 - the PSN Store still has the complete edition of F1 2013 with all the classic cars and tracks and of course the split screen. Split screen somehow disappeared after Codemasters improved the Ego Engine for F1 2015
