However, when using new parts there is no such noise and this type of noise is clearly different from scratching on the track and to my knowledge does not noticably influence the performance. Kind of strange, but I share these sentiments.

This is what I also thought at first Maya, but after raising ride height by 1 its still there and doesn't affect my times so it has to be something else....my suspicion is its prolly when pushing too hard you're over stressing your engine. I'm speaking of F1 2016, haven't played alot of 2018 yet.
