I think Fatshark are afraid bots would carry bad players, but honestly a bot should be able to simply pull his weight. He should not die due to his stupid AI that cannot position itself properly, nor should he feed an enemy like the chaos spawn. They need to limit damage healed if it grabs a bot, and maybe change how bot grabbing works through a simple rng chance to simulate average evade stats.
Bots need to be passive and just survive without them carrying you, not be stupid to force people into matchmaking. This requires them to be immune or highly resistant to some dangers like gas attacks, fall damage, friendly fire and chaos spawn grabs.
