Should be in AppData\LocalLow\BlackSeaGames\Sovereign\Saves\Mods

That way they at least show up for me in the game (Settings->Mods), but they are all disabled (gray and crossed out).

I've just installed 2 of the mods off nexus that use the mods folder. I'm having the same problem with the mods being disabled

I think the 1.0.2 update did this. Either there is some new requirement for a mod to be valid, or they just disabled the feature altogether.

According to a post on nexus the mods folder seems to be bugged. They might have disable it's function because it's not fully implemented yet

Could you explain how this helps me with getting mods to work? Since that is an explanation how to create a mod...so I don't quite get in what way this helps me.

@Hjalfnar yeah. i think that too.
i mean, its something to start with, but it is still not helping with the thing that i can't start a game with a mod. for me i can "apply" a mod, then it says:
"applying changes"
and do that for ages... i mean, its still on after about 15 mins... not sure why, since i have some in, but "applied" only one...

If the "Apply changes" takes very long (infinite) the mod is probably broken. Try to contact the creator so they can fix it

the weird thing is, if i just copy and overwrite the original files, it works fine. :l

I have a dear friend with this game, and I'm pretty sure the mod folder is not inside the save game folder.
You need tio create a mods folder inside AppData\LocalLow\BlackSeaGames\Sovereign\
hi guys, i've got the problem where i subscribed to mods on the steam workshop. But when I looked up in-game in the setting-mods section where they should be and appear - well nothing appear as if i didn't subscribed to any mods. Anyone have experienced it and solved it ? Or just knows how to solve this problem ? Cuz i like the game, but I wished to experience the mods ...
