Knights of Honor 3, when?
I severely am too addicted to this game. I demand a sequel, for my addiction, please.

Well we waited 17 years for this one so maybe another 17? But by the looks of it, the game doesn't have a huge enough following. It's not massively successful like many other titles in the genre. It is definitely one of the great games and it has a classic potential. Unfortunately I predict it will be forgotten in some capacity, but still retain a loyal following that just won't be enough to justify making a sequel. The thing is that it's somewhat complex and for that a certain kind of person(to play) is required. So the pool of potential users is already limited

I.... wow... that sounds severely sad.

This game hasn't done too well. It carried a few of the biggest long-term problems from the previous one. The one that I didn't like is how you can only get 10? (think) characters which bottlenecks conquests, forcing you to get rid of all other types just to get marshals. The building and war mechanics basically force you to build the same things (save the resources) so it downs replayability. I haven't played the game myself since not long after release and waiting years for it to come out.

I came on here checking to see if people were still playing it to see if they did any game-changing updates but it doesn't seem that way.

I don't think there will be any more updates to this game. But there is the mod workshop and there are even mods that let you recruit more knights.

Look at the patch notes in the NEWS section you lazy bum.
Shouldn't expect others to serve you everything on a golden platter.
Vassals , spy options etc.

The knights limitation is a unique feature of the game already in the first.
if it was wise to introduce the province efficiency feature an combining that to the knights is another debate. Claiming to having to get rid of all other types to get marshalls is just a plain stupid lie.

The buildings point you made just shows you haven't really played the game.

I use a Workshop Mod. that allows a few extra leaders, it's enough. Currently I have 7 Marshals including the King, 1 Diplomat, 1 Cleric, 1 Spy and 3 Merchants. This is my mix for mid-game conquests.

I usually run 4 Merchants, 2 Clerics and 2 Diplomats for early game and avoid conflict unless necessary or if an opportunity presents itself.
