Recommendations on games with similar (but probably better) combat ?

Gotten into this game recently and got quite hooked, not the most polished game but still a lot of fun. I especially like the combat, although imo there is a lot of room for improvement in term of variety, enemy AI, etc.

I have only played a few strategy game before and they were all turn based. So I'm hoping someone could give me some recommendations on game with combat like this.

If You dont try yet Total War,You should try-but older games(not Pharaon) and if You like fanatsy try Total War Warhammer.Im strongly recomend TW Shogun 2 or TW Rome 2.

Total War Pharaoh is actually great game - in battles as well, even the original version.
It received undeserved hate & critics, and it is set in very specific setting - Bronze age, so it is wargame without cavalry and siege weapons.

Thanks you both for the recommendations! I have heard about total war a lot but I kinda got overwhelmed by franchise that have bunch of titles and dlcs, no idea which to try out. I will check out the ones you guys mentioned

If you don't mind older games Lords of the realm 2 is AMAZING

Do not be afraid of DLCs - DLCs meanigfully extend the game, but are just optional extra content - it means, that You do not need it, and can play just a base game.

So first 200 hours You can play base game, for another 70-100 hours, You can buy DLC etc

Definitely try shogun 2 total war. Probably the best of the lot when it comes to this sort of game!
