thanks for the information.
mod tools, an editor or even a custom campaign creator connected to the steam workshop would be a nice farewell present for the awesome KoH Community. Maybe you can talk with the publisher...
Thanks Iskar. Thing is we had some post release coverage, like bug fixes and new features. While both us and the publisher wanted to do more it didn't happen at that point (yes, we thought about HRE, merchant republics, etc.) and right now unfortunately, it's not possible. But let's not rule it completely out for the future.
Any kind of update would sure inject it with new life...and would be a good opportunity to fix some technical and MP issues and maybe add more starting options.
While i didn't have enough time to play the game sufficiently in recent months, now i'm back again to do me some KoH2.
Keep me optimistic.
It's means publisher doesn't wan't to provide future support. In long run there could be updates but those updates most likely be some system fix (for example for a new hardware).
The more time passes from the last update (in terms of functionality and additional content) the less chances for a new ones if publisher don't plan updates. The price of updates will increase with more time pass, because devs will need to investigate the code and learn how it works again.
"Holding your breath" is not the definition of "optimism" and i didn't post this, just to receive such a pessimistic response. especially not, as i said "keep me" optimistic, so i want to hear more to remain in such state, so i'm not like that automaticaly.
I get it, it depends on the publisher and once a project "took a break" it rarely gets back up going again, but what Frujin said is, that it's not impossible.
I mean, saying WW3 might prevent us from playing a KoH2 update, which in our minds could potentialy be in the works, now that would be truly pessimistic, but what would be the point of saying this and sharing this idea with the public ?
Hint, that was a rhetorical question.
