I have no idea if this is high, low or okay for devs
So is the Devo meeting their expectations on sells , is #560 on the selling list good ? I guesting there are thousands if not tens of thousand game out there . I hope they are . I played KOH sense it was released and always hope for KOH 2 . The thing I liked about 1 was it was a simple game a good way to get a brake from reality . I always hope for more content (Like the new buildings and resources they added to 2) but trying to marry 0ff a prince is ridiculous in both games , why can't you add Nobles to the list ?
the 560 in top sellers seems low, but i don't know what mechanics drive that, is it just games published in the last twelve months or something else, would seem that it hasn't had a huge success. That is a shame as this is a great game, and one of the few games i've bought that hasn't had any major bugs upon release. Worth the wait and a great game, i just hope it gets the success it deserves, and we get a third one down the road
I guess we will see soon enough whether it was considered a success, that is if we'll have 'just' the promised couple of months of post-release support or DLCs and expansions. To be honest, I'd be most interested in something outside of scope of the latter, a series of KoH-style games in different settings, especially low or high fantasy, either an established one (rather low chances, considering licensing et al) or an original one. Something further in the past, early Roman Republic or Greek City States (think Slytherine's Spartan), could also, imo, work well with the Council feature.
