use "Provincefeatrues.def' file to find the exact names of each resource to quote. For example some "Deposists" are actually "Deposit" etc ( no 's') - it dont always match the game descrip spellings so copy paste is best.
apf [province feature]
When it comes to which resources you can tweak... this is what ive found...
Sheep, Horses, Forest, Cattle, Vinyards, Flax, Herbs ALL have specific in map 3D elements. I cant find a way in debug to change these on the map itself, so these resources cant really be added manually.
HOWEVER...
Amber, Mineral Deposits, Raregame, Salt, Saltpeter, Sulfer and Pirates have no in map 3D element and can be added freely anywhere! (You will need a market for all of these except pirates - a harbor ---- for your town planning purposes ;) )
As for Marble & Iron, these HAVE the 3d map elements like most the farm style featurees (But its a Quarry or Mine respectively, not a super specific thing like Vinyard for Vines ), so..... you caaaant just add in a physcail quarry or mine, BUT, you can add lodestone, silver gold freely to your mine. And Limestone to your Marble Quarry) :D . --these also need markets - for planning purposes ;)
[fyi - you have to have iron to get lodestn, silver n gold / Marble to get Limestone]
In a nutshell, when loading a map, im trying to find Iron, Marble & all the Crop & Farm features i listed, then i can freely add all the bonus resources (they tend not to have upgrades anyway - like amber). So your looking for 9 resources instead of 20 or so if your trying to Catch Em All!
(Plus it seems like you can add pirates to any coastal settlement? which is neat)
Hope that helps, Good Luck
The classes.def file makes me think its possible somehow .,,,
text Warfare = "Warfare"
text Economy = "Economy"
text Diplomacy = "Diplomacy"
text Religion = "Religion"
text Espionage = "Espionage"
IF you could rephrase your question so that i understand it, then i might be able to answer.
I suppose you refer to skills, but i'm not sure what you mean with "alter".
IF you ask how one can cheat 5 level skills , then simply get books and level them up yourself or use the "max+ seletcted character" console command. Both commands were mentioned in the opening post.
Apologies... Refering to their Star Rated "Abilities" of Warfare, Economy etc, Not their "skills". Each has a rating of up to five stars thats randomly generated upon birth. As apose to the book purchased skill selection. Hope that makes sense. And I hope I can edit the perfect five star king ;)
ahh cool thank you! So i chose to become vassal of another kingdom for a play through. at some point it told me my people ad allied toward the other kingdom. i got worried they'd like kill me or something so i wanted to prevent that to continue with my game. But i ended up figuring it out and everything is groovy. Thank you for responding.
Ah that. Now i understand. Well i now can tell you full of confidence that i don't
know a command for that, sorry. Prety sure i didn't miss it among the ones posted before either.
Sounds like save file editing is required for that..
I saw stuff in world.txt of the save folder with "RoyalAbilitiesState",but coulnd't quickly figure out what to do. Need to go to sleep.
"What powers they get offered"
What ?
I don't think that has any influence on the skills offered, if that is what you refer
to with "powers".
Contrary to that the tooltip mentions what each ability does and that the abilities have an effect on actions of respective skill areas and their outcomes etc.
The tooltip says what the stars do for each ability.
Martial for instance is mainly for morale.
1) to increase kingdom levies.
2) to increase / fill a province's food storage.
3) to add specific units into marshal and / or province's garrison.
4) to heal units.
No matter what I do, following the instructions provided does not allow the console to come up in the game. Can someone please provide better detailed intsructions on how to get the cheats to work, Thank you.
Get at least 50% high tier ranged troops in your army
Blow even 2:1 odds to splinters in battle
Feel like cheating.
It says in the opening post :
"right click on game s shortcut
Add --ForceEnableConsole parameter
"installpath\Knights of Honor II Sovereign\Sovereign.exe" --ForceEnableConsole
you may need to run the game as admin for console to work. or open the console after the game starts(in the menu before load/continue campaign)
once in game activate console via ~ key"
In other words....
When in Steam instead of creating a shortcut you simply add the
--ForceEnableConsole
line to the "Launch Options" section in the games' properties (right click KoH 2 in the Library, select "Properties" -> "General" tab - "Launch Options".
In-game you open the console via ~ key or ö.
The latter likely only for germanic keyboard layouts.
hey bro! havent played this game in a month or so so i forget everything but in order to get the console commands you need to
-Go to steam library
-right click the game
-properties
-general
-launch options: type here "--ForceEnableConsole" minus the quotes. save, launch
Hi, does not work for me. Have done all the steps above and still no console show up. My region is Czech republic, tried ~ key and ö as well.
Maybe AltGr+1 if you're using Windows (right-alt and 1 simultaneously) or the º key? Otherwise, you might just have to test all of the keys other than those in the list of default controls.
