How fleshed out is the Naval aspect of the game?
Transports for troops and that's it? Anything else?

nordic is the publisher, they probably just have land crossings over large bodys of water lul

You have to march your troops to a port, then they automatically get ships.

Seen a let's play on youtube... no port required to embark. It's TW Rome2 all over again, armies turn to ships. Not good in my opinion.

I agree, that is a regression compared to KoH1...you had to go to port in the previous game

That's only going to result in the AI trolling the player and the player trolling the AI. As you can see in the linked video where the "romance bud" already starts to bloom.
