Army Colors, forced to blue/red forever?
I despise the design method that makes me the "blue guys fighting the red guys" in every conflict. The only difference between fighting the french and the english? There isn't one. They're both blandly Red Bad Guys as if it would somehow confuse players to see the enemy wearing blue whilst the players troops matched the heraldry of their own kingdom.

Pathetic and it makes every conflict generic; the bad guys are in red. Every. Single. Time.

The army colors are taken from the kingdoms, like in the political view. In your case, sounds like you're a blue kingdom (france) fighting a red kingdom (england)

lmao
Nope. You will never fight an enemy dressed in yellow, you will never fight orange, purple, anything. Nothing except Player Is Blue, Baddies Are Red.

That's not the case. I had many colours of troops, green, purple, various shades of yellow-ish and orange happen often. I don't think I actually had my guys wear blue, tho, come to think of it.

My Nicean troops were red and my Byzantine ones purple. Jerusalem was definitely white.
