Royal weddings
Is there a way to have a royal wedding for your king (=after he turns king)?

My previous king died and his heir took the throne before I married him or any of his male siblings - it now seems like there is already no way to continue the bloodline, since other powers keep reminding me that I have no offspring to marry away.

This mechanic doesn't seem well thought out.

I believe after a certain amount of time your ruler is supposed to marry someone on their own. I remember one of the devs saying that in a video. I have not had that happen to me yet so I am unsure.

If he doesn't get married and the bloodline ends, one of your marshalls/knights will become king.

Your king can marry a princess just as your princes can, you'll have to find a nation that has one and then organize a royal wedding.

When your King stays "single" too long, he will marry a random local noble, which you cant prevent or choose.
At the other hand, you can look though other kingdoms and search for adult not married women.
The womans skills help the king, so there you can look for a wife, that gives good boni.
Also marriage is the only true way to achieve an alliance between 2 nations, refusing to help them, if they get attacked will cost you crown authority.
