Knights of Honor II: Sovereign

Knights of Honor II: Sovereign

Statistiche:
Does anyone know how to add special forces in other province?
So I am playing England, I want to add The Knights Templar in London as a regional special force, but I has been modified Defs\DataSources\KingsData.xlsx (here is the file save regional special force) and add the knights Templar, when I load my savefile, I can not see Templar knights in London, so does anyone know how to add it?

BTW, where is the savefile? It's not in My Document......

Save files are under C > Users > [your user name] > AppData > LocalLow > BlackSeaGames > Sovereign > Saves. If you can't see AppData, click on "View" in the explorer window and check "Hidden Items".
Lol, they still keep the unit forces list in XLSX file? Maybe you need to start a new game instead?

No i doesn't work, I add Viking_special to London and open a new game and I cannot see it. There should have another file to implement kingdom forces.....:Owlcat_tongue:

Yeah, you're right.. I tried the same thing and it doesn't work as well. But if I remember correctly in KOH1, there was a "compiled" file that includes the XLS file inside it. What I did was I had to use the KOH tool to extract that XLS file, make the edits with Excel, then I have to recompile it back into the same file to update it with the new edited XLS file.

I'm not sure if something similar can be done here. Maybe something to do with the other .BAK file? or it can be somewhere else as you said.

But I think since the game has a official mod support anyway. This shouldn't be too hard to do as long as we know how the mod feature works and there's probably a community (even though it's even more niche for a niche game) and we'll get different mods being available, and get those edited in any way we want.
\Defs\AvailableUnits.def
\Defs\DataSources\kingsdata.xlsx
\Maps\europe\kingdoms.csv
\Maps\europe\realms.csv

These are the files to add or remove the special units for a specific country.

If you do not have MS Office to save an xlsx file, you can use the free Open Office Calc and search the web for a free converter from ods to xlsx (e.g. https://products.aspose.app/cells/de/conversion/ods-to-xlsx).

For realm only u only need to modify realms.csv file for london example open realms.csv file find London and add which unit u want thats it every realm has 3 time period E M L remember to start your new game in correct time period
For example i want to add templar unit to london in early time period
London.E,-,England,-,-,-,,,,,Templar_Special
Also when u modify with files your save wont get them cause u played them with older files u need to open a new game and save it after that u can load it anytime . Also if u want to load your modified saves u need to modify which files u did before if u undo them
