Oh...
Sorry. I didn't know i get alerts for new threads in the new coming game.
Thought it was the KoH (1) forum.
Ooops, oops, oops. Mea culpa.

Deleted my post.

PS: I don#t recall any info regarding that, but i for the most part only look at the discord channel now and then. There is not that much info out yet.

Expect something much smaller than total war and something more like the original KoH. While I don't think we have anything set in stone, the devblogs mention that marshals will be able to lead 9 squads, crusaders and kings would have additional squads in their retinue and non-marshals will be limited to 6.

Also, further example mentioned that infantry squad is roughly around 30 men strong, cavalry 21, number is bigger for militia units.

I think battles of original KoH are not so good especially camera and commanding units.
I hope something like totalwar.

You're not getting a Total War like experience. You'll have something slightly similar but far more limited in scope. You'll be able to siege and command units on the battlefield but the combat will be more simplistic and will have far fewer units. I'd imagine it'd be KoH at least, probably slightly better.

We know and we have seen almost nothing about battles, and I don't think it is a good sign...

Going by the dev diaries, the videos and all they show of the game, it seems at least by the looks it likely to be very similar to the original, but with tweaks and changes here and there.

There was no actual battle footage or dev diary on that specifically to my knowledege yet, but i'd be surprised if they go much further from the original formula. That said, i think they are aware that battles became repetitive, but on the other hand ToW battles do as well, after you played a few landscapes and troop types and got to know them.

PS: The gameplay teaser trailer has a part where you see units marching towards a town and a catapult throwing firewhatever....and that will likely be it, i suppose.

PS_2 : Dev diary 5 had some info, which supports the theory it wil be like the original with some tweaks here and there (who can lead armies, extra skills etc).

and some stuff about the process of waring and conqering cities in dev diary 4

I like how they don't appear to try to reinvent the wheel with the sequel.
Looks solid. I trust in Frujin.
