Bug: Freeze/Stuck at Chapter 2 (Adil Train)

As soon as I try to get out of the window in the train - using the towel - I can't to anything.
In this scene I can see the train from the outside. The towel is above the window, but i don't see my character (Adil). I can't click anything (even ESC is not working) and have to end the game using alt+f4.

Same here. Is there any fix for this game breaking bug?

Got it: Try to reload the autosave and just take the towel and escape without triggering anything else. This worked for me.

I have the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ problem bug... the towel is above the window and i cant see my character (Adil) and i can't click anythiing.. and i do what you say rooby but again nothing..Any help???

Having the same problem, what can be done to fix it? Reloading doesn't work, have to force the game down.

Try to exit through the window WITHOUT getting the towel - that should work.

really getting some massive remaster vibes here, not exactly the stuff I did expect in a game 6 years after release and 1 year after the remaster...

Exactly the same issue...

I tried to load the autosave but Adil is already with the towel in his hands. And the last manual save is literally the begining of chapter 2... Any suggestions what can I do?

Cannot believe this hasn't been fixed yet. I see this bug was reported 2 years ago literally!

Having the same problem here. The tip with not triggering anything elese didnt help either.

I could avoid this problem by the following sequence: reload the auto save, exit without the towel, go back into the train, fetch the towel, exit with the towel. Very annoying.

Just stumbled into this bug, In my auto save Adil already has the towel, and my previous save is at the entrance of the museum. Really reluctant to go back so far - maybe i will try again in a few months...

Having the same issue. Tried reloading, quitting the game and then loading, verifying the files, etc and nothing has worked so far.

Die Lösung: Bevor ihr Euch das Handtuch holt müsst ihr als aller erstes in der Scene das Fenster benutzen. Dann könnt ihr die Sequenz sehen wo Adil mit dem Handtuch am Zug hochklettert. Doch ihr habt ja das Handtuch nicht, darum klettert wieder rein, öffnet nur den Eckschrank, nehmt das Handtuch und wieder raus aus dem Fenster. So wird der BUG umgangen!
