Report a translation problem
Basically I had an entourage of skeletons always with me: They took the brunt of every encounter and I just kept raising them over and over again...
...and if the kill resulted an another corpse, I just raised it too. :)
Of course I was also lucky and found early on that one amulet which lets you to bear the pangs of hunger more easily.
The downsite of this is of course that the skeletons don't follow you to the depths, they linger on the level in which they were summoned...
