anyway to sync save file between pc and ipad?

my son has been playing this game on my desktop pc. i want to let him play on his own ipad. I am willing to purchase another iOS version of baba is you on the app store. however, I want to know if there is anyway that the save on my PC (and along comes steam saves) could be transferred to the ipad version? Or does he have to start the game from scratch again?

I have no idea. The PC save files would need to be compatible with the mobile version of the game, and i imagine they probably are compatible, but i can't be sure.

You'd also need to be able to transfer the save file from the PC to the ipad, which can probably be done in multiple ways,
then put the save file in the mobile version of the game's save file location, but i'm not familiar with how the iOS filesystem and apps work. I'd be surprised if that was easy to do.

If the save files are compatible and you know how to manipulate mobile games' save files, then you'd probably be able to transfer the save file.
The save files are called "Xba.ba", where X is the number of the save file, ranging from 0 to 2.

Steam I'm pretty sure has a different way of storing save files compared to iOS.

It's probably possible, but you would most likely need to to some configurations to kick start it.
