Level-sharing thread! (Post codes and give feedback)
Now that the online level-sharing is in beta, here's a thread where you can freely post your level codes and share them with others! It can be a good idea to also describe your level a bit so that others can get an idea of what it's about. When giving feedback or commenting on others' levels, remember to be polite and constructive and don't just bash someone's creation.

Both levels are level I made in response to the new word suggestions INTERVAL.

They are hard levels, and The Countdown is probably as hard as level 20 (Abstractions) of my level pack Babasynthesis.

In Metamorphosis, there is a timer of cycle 36. POWERED rules activate once every 36 turns.
The timer in The Countdown has some really complicated interactions in it so I'm not exactly sure how many turns it takes until it activates, but it should be at least 1000. Since LEVEL IS AUTO, it is time-based and takes roughly 45 seconds on my computer for it to activate.

Decreasing your input delay makes The Countdown easier.
Some notes for The Countdown, also potential spoiler:
Making BABA IS FLOAT results in a weird behavior since I didn't add FLOAT to the word list.
I didn't add BABA IS BABA either, so you can potentially transform BABA into another object (I think the only choice is STAR, which is extremely unhelpful). There's room for alternate solutions but I'm not sure if transformations are useful.


I used to think that PHANTOM is too powerful for actual levels, but now I can't stop using PHANTOM in my levels lol.

A proper recreation of my weird level in #99.

I'm creating my second level pack and was going to include this level. However, it doesn't quite fit the theme. My new level pack is like Meta with lots of rule manipulations and red herrings, but this level doesn't have a single modifiable rule.
(The pack is also highly linear like Meta, so a pure puzzle level doesn't fit.)

It's still a solid puzzle level imo, so I'll post it here instead of including it in my next level pack.

Pretty simple, is more or less a tutorial level. Probably the level that is less linear of all of the levels i have created XD

WEB6-2RPL - Double the Fun
I had so much fun with this! There is a non intended solution, but it's just "doing" two things one after another instead of together at the same time.

2DLC-QBBQ - Enviromental Mimetism
More of a proof of concept than a puzzle level. At first i thought i was going somewhere, but it's more useful as an idea that can be used IN levels.

YYTH-Q1TA - Try
A horrible name, but whatever XD another simple "shapeshifter" level. Like Double the Fun, you can do various things one after the other or all together.

LTJQ-XCL9 - Labyrinth
I worked on this level for hours. The concept in the center was what i wanted to try. It's probably one of my "hardest" levels, albeit soooo linear like all of them. One of my favourites, since it was really satisfactory to figure it out.

I solved it without using the following things: all rocks, the reed, the words "on", "reed", "water" and "melt", the word "open" in the left area, the sentence "rock is push"
Is this intended?

However, the only level of these 5, that I didn't solve, is Double the Fun.

I... use everything when I solve Labyrinth.
Could you write under spoiler how you did it, please? D: I have to have missed so many things :O So i can solve the problems, as much as possible at least.

I replayed DtF today and yeah, i think it has to be the most difficult of the levels i've created. Do you need some kind of hint?

Most importantly: did you have fun? :P
How I solved Labyrinth
  1. build the rule "algae is push" in the bottom section
  2. push algae two steps left to remove water
  3. remove the water directly above the removed water by pushing the word "algae" into it
  4. buld the rule "bug is weak"
  5. replace the word "bug" of "bug is weak" with the word "husk". (Now you can step on the husk to remove it.)
  6. build the rule "lizard is weak" in the left section
  7. build the rule "stump is husk" in the middle of the map
  8. build the rule "bird is weak" in the right section
  9. build the rule "pillar is open and push"
  10. in the top section push both pillars right to remove water and stump
  11. step on the flag to win


DtF
I tried again and was able to put text on the flag. Currently is don't want a hint. It is more fun to solve it without one.

I was working on Babamorphosis and didn't have the time to try these, and now I tried all of them except Labyrinth. (Giant puzzles hurt my mind.)

Baba Hides Something: Easy and I think there are similar things in the main game.

Environmental Mimetism:
You gave me too many pieces of text and I didn't have to use ON at all. I can form X IS X next to the edge of the areas.
The visibility of some text is really low on things like bog. I think some text even becomes invisible.

Try: Again, easy. Being simple is good but I think this is too simple.

I don't mean that these three are bad levels, but they tend to be bland.


Double the fun:
Probably an unintended solution but I'm not sure.

1. Push 2 belts onto the tile.
2. Duplicate belts with BELT IS HUSK and BELT IS TREE in a crossing.
3. Get 6 belts (the maximum) on the tile.
4. Push an IS onto the tile and make it YOU.
5. Push BELT and SHIFT next to the tile and get ready to form BELT IS SHIFT.

6. YEET.



Also tried some of quad_rund's levels. They are straight forward, and the waterfall looks nice.

This is the updated code for Labyrinth. It should be solved as intended now. Thanks for catching those "exploits", they are not what i want for the level.
I'm glad you had fun, quad_rund :3

I feel you about Labyrinth. If there are a lot of rules i usually return to that level when i'm actually willing to stay 10 minutes on a level XD The majority of those rules are to prevent unintended solutions though, i swear XD

About DTF: Oh, that is totally not the solution I had in mind (or that i even found XD) but it's funny, so I don't think i will change the level HAHA I mean, it still uses stacking, kind of, albeit not in the intended way. I will think about adding Belt is Belt, but for now nah, yeeting is fun. And you still have to yeet in the intended solution.

Oh, you’re building a level pack? I’m looking forward to playing it.

In DtF, you can still yeet with BELT IS BELT by stacking 3 IS together (Triple the Fun lol). SHIFT is just that powerful.

Great level! A bit on the easier side, but still fun to solve. I don't really see BROKEN used much, and you did a good job at making a level around it. I also like the "minimalistic" style of the level. Keep up the good work!

Solved Deep Water without using WORD:
Form BABA IS YOU, ORB IS BABA and WATER IS SINK in 2 crossings.

Still can't solve Runaway Robots.
Edit: Took a break and solved it. Nice level.

I like the simplicity of this level. I have made some levels with BROKEN before but none of them are as elegant as this one.
