B - Well, do you actually not have enough free space left on your C drive? (Around 100 kilobytes would be more than enough, but even 30 kilobytes should be fine?)
C - In what way are you saying this affected your cloud saves?
D - And just to confirm, are you playing on multiple devices or just one?
E - If you remember enough about which levels you've cleared past the standard map, i could try to make you a new savefile myself if you want (you might need to wait a bit, however), but i don't know of any way to edit a savefile in a comprehensible way.
As I mentioned, when I wrote this post I had played the game successfully just a few hours ago.
It constantly fluctuates based on my apps doing stuff (and trying to update I imagine), and at some point the space hit 0, so if that happened when I was playing, it could fail to record the data.
Seeing that cloud still seems to work, I can only assume that the game reset my data after failing to update the savefile, and then uploaded that to cloud, replacing that as well? Honestly I've no clue, I just didn't expect such a hiccup to happen when a game has cloud saving.
Just one.
That would be really nice if you could do that, but how? Just playing through the levels manually? :o
As I mentioned in the post, it's really simple to explain: I beat everything on the first world map (and I thought it was the whole game...) EXCEPT the red dot in bottom right. I then proceeded into the secret area (I think it was named ???) or something that looks like a flower. I think I had to transform two levels into Baba and Flag to do that. Don't really care about the progress inside that flower, since I still remember the levels pretty well and I can replay them quickly.
I might even have an existing save file that hasn't progressed too far that i could use as a starting point, but i'm not sure.
Honestly, any map with the majority of "standard" world beaten will do the trick, I'm ok with replaying a couple late worlds (since I've done that recently anyway), just not the entire map x.x
In any case, I'd really appreciate the help.

(When "downloading" a file from Steam Cloud, you'll be asked to choose a file to replace, you might want to make some dummy file for this.)
Copy/paste this into a text file and name the text file 0ba.ba to make the game detect it.
(It isn't impossible for Steam Cloud to try to overwrite the new save file next time you launch the game, so you might need to turn it off temporarily.)
Thanks a lot for saving my playthrough! :D
I'm glad to have helped! It was fun replaying through the game. I was also hoping it would help getting me back into the game for playing custom levelpacks like the one where every level of the base game is made more difficult, but so far i'm struggling with it.
Good luck on your end, and have fun with the rest of the game!
