research facility-is this a bug?

on the research facility level if you are moving the bolt by itself it will not melt until it touches the skull. However if you have the bolt pushing the words it will melt as soon as one of the words pushes the word "skull" even if the bolt is 2 squares away from the actual skull. Is there something I am missing here or is this a blatant inconsistency.?

Which words are being pushed? I think I know what's going on, but you'll need to be more specific. If it's what I think it is (BOLT IS MOVE being pushed by the bolt), then what's happening is that the word BOLT pushes the word SKULL out of the way, forming BOLT IS HOT. If something is both HOT and MELT, then it will destroy itself.

Yes you are right. I had forgotten about the other unchangeable aspect of the bolt as you noted.
