Stuck on Island-10 Evaporating Water

There doesn't seem to be enough to work with here. I think I need to put all three free text blocks (WATER, IS, and SINK) into the skulls and push them with the cog to get FLAG IS WIN connected, but I have no way of getting the cog to the other side of the water.

The only ways I've found to get rid of the water is sinking Baba into it (Leaving me with nothing to control), or sinking one of the text blocks into it, which doesn't leave enough to push over the skulls without being killed.

As for the other rules I can create: I can use the text blocks to creat WATER IS SKULL, but that doesn't help because now baba can't cross the river. And COG is WATER doesn't help because it only creates more water.

Any ideas/hints?

COG IS SINK doesn't seen to help matters either...

Hint 1: Pushing the text FLAG with a chain of blocks through the skulls is the wrong idea - you need to destroy the skull nearest to the text FLAG and push it directly.

Okay, but how? I can't destroy the skulls with text blocks (or anything for that matter), and even if I knew how the cog could help, I still have no apparent way of getting it across the water?

I feel as if I am missing something important here.

Hint 2: To make a gap in the water, push WATER, IS, and SINK to the other side of the water separately, make WATER IS SINK from left to right on the other side of the water, and push the whole thing left, annihilating WATER with one of the water tiles.

Yeah, I just realized that right before you posted it! I had already figured out how to sink text into the water, but had forgotton about that as a solution since I thought I needed all three text blocks for my initial idea up there.

Same. I just did this puzzle after finally looking up a guide. It still doesn't make much sense to me, though.

Text tiles function exactly as if they were "push" unless they have extra rules added to them such as "text is float"

Several later levels actually use TEXT IS FLOAT just to prevent you from using them to destroy water tiles when there's a sinking puzzle. And TEXT IS PUSH is an actual rule that's normally in effect, I just gave up on a level that has a fixed TEXT IS NOT PUSH... x3

Man, I took a long time thinking to solve this level. I gave up because it was so late, almost 2am, and I started to try to sleep. But I couldn't. I was just thinking in this level. So, I remebered how the level was, and I tried to solve by brain. I put in my mind some premises like (you can't move the cog to the left side without giving some piece in the river and etc...) After 10 minutes, I found the solution. I got my pc, start the game and I win that level! This is a little hard, but if you are convinced you want to solve, you will get it! Good luck!!!
