Sound stopped working
There is no sound in the game anymore. I've checked all settings, restarted the game, restarted the OS, checked files integrity. Everything looks fine, but the game is absolutely silent for me now.

I'll contact you over Steam. Out of curiosity, what sound devices do you have?

Just a laptop with integrated speakers and headphones connected through standard 3.5 jack. Neither variant seems to work.

my audio also doesn't work on my home PC. It was working this morning when I first installed it. Now I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it is still not working. :(

Did you try installing the DirectX runtime? Adding you on Steam to troubleshoot.
Alternatively, try the betabranch, since even if you are missing components from the DirectX runtime, it should be able to run without.

EDIT: As expected, chwisty was missing the DirectX runtime. Switching to the beta branch fixed things :)

I have the same problem and tried all solutions suggested in this thread, but to no avail.

I have a Logitech Z cinema system, which works fine with all other programs which have sound.

My current workaround is to play sound over my TV, which adds to the lofi experience, but is still suboptimal.

@BagelOrb: Are you sure you've set your audio device to be the default one in Windows? The game will use that for audio output.

I'm on a Chromebook (so the Linux version) and the sound worked at first, but now it's silent. I feel like it can't be DirectX... can it?
