Lake-7, "DOOR IS OPEN" doesn't mean you can go through doors?
What the title says.
In Lake-7, "DOOR IS OPEN" doesn't allow you to cross the last door, and you're required to do "DOOR IS PUSH".
What gives?

"Open" means that the object can interact with objects that are "Shut"; earlier in the level you pushed a Key that was "Open" against a Door that was "Shut", and they destroyed each other. "Open" on its own does nothing, and the Door being "Stop" prevents you from passing.

"Door is open" means that the door is capable of opening "shut" objects, not that the door is actually open. It's one of the vagaries of this game's syntax.

Thanks to both for your replies.
Guess it helps to think about it as stating it CAN OPEN not that it IS OPEN.
A bit weird, but guess I'll have to get my head around it.
