A way out? Map change

With this newest update several maps got tweaked.
I just finished "A way out?" and seen it was on the list so I loaded it up to check it out. I noticed the skulls where removed and a few minor non important parts where moved ever so slightly.

I was just wondering why the change? Mainly: Why remove the skulls,the last step to unlock the end?

I'm also curious about this level. It was changed for the third time. It's still possible to solve it without the belts, just like before. I liked that the End block was a bit harder to get than just a normal Win. But now it feels a bit too easy maybe?

You still don't need them? Haha, seems like every time I adjust the level another way to solve it pops up. I did the change mainly because the Skull portion wasn't very interesting as a sub-puzzle and a lot of people seemed to be overwhelmed by the amount of words in this.

Hi, I was thinking about this level for a good while some time ago. I had a rough idea how to get to the flag but it didn't click yet at the time.

Now I'm playing again after a break and I was extremely surprised that the level has changed. In fact I solved it in a few minutes - partially because I had an idea of the solution but also because many elements disappeared and I had less options to think about. So yeah, I won but I can't feel I deserved it :(

edit: sorry if I came out as too complainy, this game is a massive 10/10, it's the best braidlike I've ever played and this one instance doesn't change that <3

The level was made easier to make it more approachable for people who wanted to clear the game earlier. There's a harder version of the level that was added later in the game that may make use of the solution you're looking for.
