Can someone explain this too me? (Automated Doors Level)
https://imgur.com/a/XTMGrwL

1. NOT ROCK IS WORD
2. Now I Push the ROCK Word upwards, suddenly a sound effect is heard, a new (unknown rule) applies. It doesn't vanish when I freely move but seems to do nothing.
3. I push the upwards ROCK word to the right (or left, it doesn't matter) the rule vanishs and doesn't reapplies when I push the word back to it's previous position.

What the hell did happen!? Is this a bug?

Also the whole Metacognition things seems illogical to me at some points, for example when I put rock as object and rock as word on the same position and arrange a "ROCK IS WORD" and then push only the ROCK Word away, the rule vanishes against my expectation. The "wordified" Rock object should've sustain itself, cause on this state it's actually:

ROCK IS WORD

When the game expects me to do something crazy on this level it should at least behave comprehensible.

My version of the game doesn't do anything weird as far as I can tell. You must be running an old patch. As for rock Is Word being self sustaining, the game simply doesn't work that way. The game does not care what words were in effect the previous turn. When the turn starts, there's no rule to make Rock Is Word so the game won't even recognize rock Is Word as a rule.

There's specific code in the game to prevent recursive rule-defining as in the "[Rock] Is Word" case; this was because during development it seemed that people generally found recursion buggy/janky-feeling rather than intended.

I think what happens there is that when you push the Rock word out of the way, the game erroneously generates the "rule added sound" because of the complex interaction between "Not [Rock] Is Word" and the aforementioned recursion-prevention measures. On my version, if I look at the rule list after moving the Rock word, no new rules were added, but the game indeed plays the rule sound. I'm sorry if that's what caused the confusion.

Oh ok so then recursion is not part of the solution. Then I really wonder how to do this, it's still solvable after recent patches right?

Yeah, it is. Would you want a hint?
