I expect that behaviour to get fixed though.
Oh, wow. That's a clever way to turn dust into levels. Not very intuitive though. I would have thought that destroying the text takes priority and the rule wouldn't have had time to take effect.
This is how I turned the dust into levels: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1727727231
Yeah, but both of those Level text blocks are inaccessible. IIRC, mtomato had a pretty cool solution for making "LEVEL IS TEXT" in Ultimate Maze. Took several steps to get there, but it's possible.
You might be right. However, looking at mtomato's screenshot there are 3 level texts and level 12 is missing from the numbered levels (therefore it can reasonably be concluded that Ultimate Maze was used to form a level text). Here's what I think happened: Depth was turned into a rock, the other rock was used to sink the water, the dust was turned into levels, the levels were pushed away temporarily to access the Depth rock, that rock was moved to where the old water used to be and turned into water, and finally the dust levels were pushed back into their original positions. If what you say is true, mtomato may also have used an earlier version where LEVEL IS TEXT was possible to be formed in Ultimate Maze. However, given that their flower count is 225, I don't think that's the case--I think they were somehow able to figure out how to still form LEVEL IS TEXT in Ultimate Maze. Regardless, definite shenanigans!
One more thing: the dust in mtomato's screenshot wasn't turned into the levels using OP's method as the IS from ROCK IS PUSH is still maintained.
I thought it was the other way around, that it wasn't possible before, but it is in the updated version.
Now I'm curious. How were people forming Level Is Text in the older version?
That's so much easier than what I did. (https://imgur.com/wkz9pHP)
Well, it'd still possible even with a tile in there.
Edit: ?
Oh, you're talking about an even older version that I hadn't seen before.
I looked for a video about the level as old as I could easily find, and sure enough, it's got less hedge than the current version.
From mtomato's picture, it looked like he'd turned Depths into "Level" text and used that to make "Level is Push", then pushed all the levels into a square. I forgot that Ultimate Maze had "Level is" text in it, though, which is what people are saying was used. Going to look at that level again.
