Server Timeout on first loading game

Every time I restart Squad 44, I select a server, then the campaign page loads up and then .... nothing until I get a server timeout, regardless of which server and campaign I load. After that, I can go to any server and run any campaign as normal until I exit from Squad 44 and restart the game again. If I try and end the task with task manager, the campaign page has priority and I can't see the task manager menu. If I do a computer reboot (only a last resort), I end up with corrupted files and then have to uninstall and reinstall the game - a lengthy process of about 1.5 hours. I am running Windows 11 with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor, 3701 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s) with 32GB memory and an AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card. Any help would be appreciated.

It seems that some people have resolved this by uninstalling the game and then reinstalling it. Install on a SSD if possible to decrease load times when trying to connect to a server.
