Who we are: The 193rd Glider Infantry Regiment [193rd GIR] is a Post Scriptum Tactical Realism unit established in 2017 by a core group of members from the 5th Ranger Battalion from DOD:S. We portray the 193rd Glider Infantry Regiment, 17th Airborne Division, which saw heavy combat during the Battle of the Bulge.

What we do: We consider ourselves laid back and casual, with an emphasis on teamwork and tactics to achieve success in game. We actively participate in multiple Post Scriptum realism community events each week. We are NOT a MILSIM due to our casual environment.


Member Requirements:

- We hold 1 drill on the weekend. Members may sign-up for events based on their work schedule.

- NO prior experience or skill required. We will teach you how to play the game tactically and as a team.

- Age limit is 16. Recommended age is 18 or older. Most of our members are mid-late 20s and the conversation tends to be adult rated. Our language will offend your grandma.

- NO VAC bans. We do not tolerate cheating.

- You must have a working microphone and discord.

Tried to play with them yesterday but was kicked from the squad after we spawned in even though I said hello and asked what they wanted me to do. I saw other non-clan members that were part of the squad too so I am unsure as to the reason why.

We don't choose favourites when we kick people to make room for unit members, and we also don't just waste space with a half empty locked section. People who get kicked from a section are picked at random. obviously it's not ideal but it happens. Apologies if you felt targeted at all but feel free to add any of the Gliders or just hop into the server, we'd be more than happy to bring you along in a squad for some shenanigans!
