Long wait to join leading to "Server Closed Connection" Kick upon load
I have played this game for years. I might not have the greatest PC, but it still does fine for now (knock on wood). However, with the Iwo Jima update, I find that it takes on average of anywhere from 5 to nearly 10 minutes to load the map after waiting for the queue. On its own, that is a problem and needs to be addressed ASAP. However, the real problem that makes this almost unplayable and has convinced a not insignificant number of players to quit is when the game finally loads up, you can see the actual game for a brief moment before being kick and returned to the main menu with the message, "Server Closed Connection." I know this is not a server issue nor a hardware issue, as it happens regardless of the server I choose or my hardware, as I have talked to several friends who also have the same issue. I thought at first it could be something related to an AFK kick timer, but the fact that it is so inconsistent and can happen on any server leads me to believe its a game problem.

Please fix this ASAP, I am really enjoying the game and I want this to be the update that brings back players, but when you have bugs like this affecting people who have played this game since launch without any workaround, I feel like this is going to be a flash in the pan at best unless it is addressed quickly.

I think i have the same issue. I was able to get a single server to work that was a non iwo jima map, but ANY server i try with iwo jima as the map does the exact same thing you described. i am going to attempt to move the file out/delete it at the end of this pathway (sl.pcl.dll) out of the file location here which apparently may work.

I am having the same issue...3 hours play time, about 40min of actual game before it crashed. My PC is well over qualified to run this game.

I tried that, didn't seem to do anything about the load time although I haven't been disconnected nearly as much, not sure if its correlated but I didn't notice any negative impact on my game either so its worth a shot.
