How to fix Screen Tearing.

Any good recommended settings to fix that?
GTX 3070Ti on 3840 x 2160 monitor with 60Hz. Yes I know 60Hz.
Enough Ram to run good quality and 8 core CPU.
Though screen tearing is a bit upsetting after the update. Idk what settings I choose.

have you tried vsync? also, if you have a gsync/freesync compatible monitor, make sure you have it enabled in the driver as welll

Never heard of Gsync but enabled it now in Nvidia. Gonna try it out first.

I usually keep vsync deactivated - and even when it was running I had screen tearing. Gonna see if this Gsync helped.

What's your average FPS? I have a 60hz monitor too but consistently run over 60 fps, usually 90+. I don't think there will be tearing in that case. I keep vsync off and increase my max fps setting to 300 and don't get tears.

If you've never heard of Gsync then I doubt you have a compatible monitor. My monitor has a Gsync sticker on it. Nvidia also has a webpage which lists all compatible monitors.

I've set the max fps to 60 as it doesnt matter if it goes higher because the 60Hz - I fixed the tearing boosting the quality a bit. Changed DLSS from balanced to DLAA and uncaped the texture poolsize. The Arhem range ran fine without any issue appart from crashing again while using the Lung mine right after taking it out. The japanese kit needs a few fixes with the Knifes too haha. Glitching out the character a bit.

If you have a different monitor use it to change the screen setting to fullscreen windowed or change it to full screen. I run into this often with my 4k monitor and that always fixes it after changed.

I always play fullscreen windowed because I am using 2 monitors. The Issue's been fixed after enabling gsync and tweaking the settings a bit more - games not running as smoothly as before the update but it's working.

Would love if they done something to improve the performance a bit. My PC is about average/above average - not a high end streamer pc I would say. Sure I could get myself the newest graphics card. And I've been told I need a second bord stick - but I just don't have the money for that. At all. At the moment. And who knows what's going to happen in the next 5 years. Maybe I won't be using my PC at all if ♥♥♥♥'s hitting the fan.
