this makes the game super unrealistic and break immersion. You should have to visually confirm kills like in squad. there should not be an auditory cue for hitting enemies in a game like this.

they wont remove it

Its not realistic but its oh so satisfying to hear that ploink when you melon someone.

ohh you can hear a 50 cal smacking something at 300 meters and beyond even bodies and remember the 303's and 7.92 are quite big rounds now the only calibre we use on a regular bases is 5.56 and 7.62 and both of them rounds are high velocity and the 5.56 especially just goes right through the target most of the time so no sound from modern day rounds but back in the 40's you would of definitely heard the round slapping someone

They should try removing it but to be honest, if you have no way of confirming ennemy is dead without checking the body, then this game will become as boring as real war

I would love an option to just turn it off. It may sound like I am intentionally handicapping myself and that I am a masochist... I mean, I can't deny that... but I'd prefer playing with them off personally. It shouldn't be too hard to add that setting, would it?

you say this like the game wasn't dying due to its previous gameplay loop. what they have done has made the game a lot more fun overall so really don't change things back but try and improve on what they've got further

its a video game not real life the more realistic a game is doesnt mean the better it is
