Lag / Screen freezing when playing
This started about 3 days ago, the screen freezes for about a second and then unfreezes , this continues throughout the entire game (exept the firing range). I never had this issue and it is starting to get really annoying because i cant shoot at people witouth the game freezing.
I have looked everywhere and couldnt find any answers so i thought that i could get an answer here.
Thanks in advance

Two main avenues.

Networking or Hardware

Networking can be your connection , somewhere inbetween or the server. First part you can check. Swap out ethernet cable for another , run some tests to a good baseline like google , any spikes 99/100 going to be your end. Second part unlikely to be able to change , third is outside chance as we are all on the few remaining servers and they do seem healthy.

Hardware. Whats your specs? The games storepage requirements might be technically right but if you want to be able to play without some issue the recommended is the minimum.

When playing open the console and type stat fps , monitor it and see what is occurring when the freezing happens.

Your CPUs Single Thread Performance is important due to how the game is and UE4 being UE4. Off top of head something under 3000 STP is doable but your really want higher.

Second is memory , the game is leaky and not great at releasing reserved memory and you may need a list cleaner to help if you play longer sessions without restarting game. I have 32 gig and I get stuttering once the game eats it all up which it will , I just clean it end of match so nothing is reserved I don't need for next map.

GPU is not so important and its more about how pretty or not want the game a 1080 is fine is your don't mind lower resolution but if it has lower memory then that can be an issue combine with low main RAM.

Oh and nearly forgot since we had a patch recently. Have you cleaned your cache? You can do it in game from the game menu screen, the will delete most files in your config folder to ensure you are using current ones. Not doing has been known to cause issues.

Deleting the cache folder is more effective than clearing it from the menu.

The performance is ridiculously poor, constant rubber banding.

No issues for me and I haven't seen anyone else complain about rubber banding. That's usually an issue with the server itself or your internet connection.
