Add Bots

It would be amazing if squad44 had single player as well just like easy red 2. So you don't have to rely on MP because player base isn't the biggest in this game. It's only a suggestion.

I love how people like you think it's as easy as "add_bots = 1" and magically there are functional bots in any game. Do you know how long it takes to make competent AI models? Even with premade packages there is a LOT that goes into it. Chances are they would release them, they just stand there or do stupid stuff ie RO2 bots, and then you'll get mad and complain that the bots aren't good.

I think that an offline campaign with Squad 44's mechanics as well as squad management (similar to Iron Front 1944 Liberation) would be pretty dope because it would truly be unique. However, that is something for the far future and probably won't ever happen. Sadly. Anyway, as of now, bots would be decent in some sort of tutorial or at the Arnhem Range. But aside from that, bots for this game are not a good idea.

this. Competent AI controlled bots are extremely hard to make, especially for a game like Squad 44 that heavily relies on immersion.

Bots for this game simply are not a good idea. This entire game was made from scratch to be PVP. You just can't simply go with "just add bots lmao", that's not how all of that works. Also, it's quite telling that you cry about "low player servers" and the game being "nearly dead" while you don't even own the game. You obviously don't understand what you are talking about.

I'm sure I remember seeing a bots mod, but it hasn't been updated the last time I checked. In the meantime, just play Hell Let Loose instead. The servers are always packed with players.

Sorry dedicated players. Real life got in the way. I don't have time to play like true players do. You know: jab, family, chores, other hobbies. I'd just would to love to play and have fun without getting destroyed.
