A case for Smaller maps
Just an honest oppinion: I'm the only one bothered by the huge size of these maps?
I made a simillar thread some time ago and found out that a lot of people enjoy smaller skirmishes with intense firefights (the highlight of this game for me) much more than the old formula of dying, spawning miles away and crossing huge sections of nothingness to get back to your squad.
I do see the appeal of such take to the gameplay loop but it feels a bit boring sometimes.
As a suggestion, I would love to see the scale of Red Orchestra 2 maps with this combat design in another game mode or something, where the great combat in this game would really shine without being this time punishing.
Just my take on things, not hating the game or anything of the sort.

Vote for the map called 'Best' next time you see it, much smaller than most of the maps. Not quite Ro2 size but a lot less running than most.

I find Skirmish a boring after a while, PS is more than just a shooter, but if that's your bag then why not just play more Skirmish games?

ive always thought with this game the commanders should have the option once every 5 minutes or so to designate a portion of the map they want to attack through so you can still flank and such but it blocks off a large portion of the map so you cant spawn camp etc it would leave the fighting localized and feeling less like a bunch of stragglers inching there way forward to a objective and more of a cohesive force fighting instead

This would "fix" my grestest issue with the game right now: the pacing.

Vote for Normandy maps, street to street battles in cities and villages with surrounding fields, not too small or big.

Maybe your SL didn't know how to place rally points. A team should have no lack of spawns.

But sometimes you wont find a team that really play the right way.
It can lead to people getting frustrated and leaving the game (Ive seen this quite a lot with this game)

There are already small seeding maps in the game.

People aren't looking for small "TDM" matches with this. Them focusing on that gameplay is a waste of time imo.

The main issue with PS is how the logistical stuff is structure and mobile spawns. And people don't use the vehicle tents to help transport each other around.

All of the stuff is there, it's just structured in a way that "looks good on paper" but in a public setting, doesn't work compared to how it works in Squad.
