No one talks anymore, no one works with their squad anymore, no one has any sense in their head.
Not really. I've tried multiple. How does it matter what the squad leaders do when absolutely nobody else speaks either?
Squad is way healthier on this aspect right now still..
It doesn't help when the rest of the server is quiet too. Also with these player counts you really don't have the luxury of kicking people out of your squad lol
Then they harass you or TK you, and then the rest of the squad still doesn't listen and you're left holding an entire flank of a cap that is being actively pushed alone.
Rinse, repeat for 5 rounds in a row.
Doesn't matter which server and someone shouldn't have to dedicate their time to a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clan just for people to have a single braincell in their head and not be selfish in a teamplay game, completely tunnel vision on the same direction 20 other ppl are watching trying to compete for kills only to get wiped because they ignored me saying 10x times they're pushing east.
Oh, and people just on purpose running onto AP mines.
A lot of new and returning players and you likely got in a squad full of them. Helped a guy yesterday sort out mic issues and I doubt he is the only one from that bunch as PS is known to causes issues.
The rest of us talk and if you are on a US server sometimes way too much but that's yanks for you.
Also what time of day, as it does peter out nearer to bedtime for multiple often good reasons.
As for why squad leader not talking matters , they are there to relay everything and mark everything and that's a large part of the chatter. It puts people off when it's not done.
false, most of them just straight up ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ignore you or bait squads and then when you leave them alone and not kick them from the squad they just baited you to lead so they can take their stupid special kit to see what they do; they'll just SHIFT+W and ignore anyone actually trying to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ teach them anything.
Same deal with Squad.
A good way for them to start is just to reply with simple stuff , copy , roger etc and do simple call outs "infantry ahead" , " tank ahead" you don't need to be precise that comes with time as you begin to recognise things better.
Being too precise can end up just confusing other people in the same boat , I have tried to keep my comms less jargon filled when with squadmates I don't know. Even use squad text to let the SL know you are listening it does make a difference when leading.
Pop on the 100th , the admins are old hats and more chill about stuff and many of the older players are there and are not too sweaty and will take time to explain and help if need be.
Because all the fanboys from youtubers/streamers who don't squad lead and just play it like like a big map TDM and don't play with their SL's keep dragging their stupid fanbases in going like OH YEAH I GOT ALL THESE KILLS HURR HURR HURR not focusing on teamplay element or talking to anyone at all.
Everytime I hop on EU, they're just seal clubbing with all the long-term clans who never really abandoned the game ON ONE SIDE with like 3 full squads worth of ppl ♥♥♥♥ stomping all the new players and non-regulars frankly.
Same thing happened in project reality EU servers
