Thank you
Thanks to all the people involved in creating this game. This has been the best WW2 shooter I have ever played and probably will be for the forseable future. I hope you can add mods or something at least to try it once in a while as a single player.

Unfortunately you found the game as it's confirmed done for. Post Scriptum will no longer receive any updates, bug fixes, or content. The game has been abandoned by the devs. All that's left is the very small modding community, if it even exists. As someone with 315 hours in the game it sucks to say but it is what it is. I really enjoyed my time, when I could play. One of the last "big" updates was transferring the game from Unreal Engine 4 over into Unreal Engine 5. The devs got this done but it introduced multiple bugs but most importantly it completely destroyed frame rates on certain systems. I went from being able to play the game in 4k resolution with medium to high settings to now barley being able to get stable frame rates in 1080p resolution. I've reinstalled the game, verified game files, all to no avail. I can run other Unreal Engine 5 games perfectly fine but Post Scriptum was very poorly optimized in Unreal Engine 4, Unreal Engine 5 made it even worse. Some people have no problem, some do. Regardless I'm not upgrading components to play a game that's poorly optimized and is on its last leg. Post Scriptum lost out to Hell Let Loose and other tactical shooters. As much as I dislike Hell Let Loose at least the game runs fine and the devs did not take months on months (8-12) to get small content updates out like Post Scriptum devs did. Post Scriptum devs took multiple months for a update like the Armor update, which is cool, but less than 5% of the player base actually plays armor. Instead of focusing on the main portion of the game like new maps, factions, weapons, etc. Stuff that would have kept players playing but instead they decided to dedicate money and very valuable time to such a small portion of the game that very little people played. So players got tired of slow updates, terrible performance, the same maps, thus left and found something else to play. I uninstalled and moved on. I would have stuck around if the game was playable but something from UE4 to UE5 completely ruined the performance on my system. With all that said you may find one full server on the weekend to play on.

The game was never updated to unreal engine 5- Because there is a engine update it never ment it goes from 4 to 5. The last engine update was a update to Unreal engine 4.27. They tryed to intreduce with the 4.27 engine update a replication graph, where they thought it would possible allow to increase the server player count to 100.

Its important to say, that PS is running on a older Version of the OWI Core which was created by the squad devolper. They PS devs invested a lot of time into trying to make the replication graph work, but the replication graph doesn't like the OWI Core and as it turns out OWI themselves never implemented themself.
So the first month or so was spent by trying to fix the rep graph until they gave up and revert back to the old system, which naturally gave them some brand new issues after trying to fix it, but they changed so much in the update so they dont could go and revert the game back to pre 4.27 update. So they spent almost a year for a update which dosnet bring new stuff or improve something but one, which ahs big replication problems and made the game worse.

Thanks for the clarification. All I knew was they were doing some type of engine update. Regardless it destroyed my frame rate. Sad to see the game in the state it is and I hope somehow it gets fixed and revived but I'm very doubtful. This genre is very niche to began with, I don't see a influx of new people to make it worth the money for the publisher.
