anti cheat connection timeout?

Yo wtf kind of error is this? Its happening radomly. VERY annoying after waiting for 10 minutes in line to get into a server just to play for 5 minute and get this....

Repair or reinstall Easy Anti Cheat

Game crashes or trouble connecting to a server can often be caused by EAC. To fix this go to your Post Scriptum install folder and find the "EasyAntiCheat" folder. Open it and run the setup as admin. When the window opens, hit repair. If you still have an issue try uninstalling it and then reinstalling it manually.

Doesn't help really. I do that BEFORE every game start but still, PS kicks me out from the game from time to time with the message "Anti-cheat connection time out". The devs definitely should take a deeper look into this stupid behavior.

I think it has something to do with the server because it only happens when I join EASY servers the first time. When I rejoin it's fine and subsequent joins till relaunching the game.

Now I don't know if it's the same for you, but in my experience I've only been kicked for anti cheat connection timeouts when joining a server when the maps are changing. Sometimes I'll be loading a certain map only for the server to change maps while connecting. When this happens I can remain on the server for 2-5 minutes before getting booted for anti cheat timeout.

Obviously the devs don't care. It's a pity such a nice game but no support for this issue. 30 minutes waiting in the queue, 1 minute in the game...kicked. Re-connect, another queue of 15 people. No interest this evening anymore to play PS. Devs: If you want to save your game from a shrinking community this is one issue you should work on.

i could repeat myself 1000 times..it ONLY happens when you connect during mapchange. If you see the old map loading halfway and it switches to the new one you have to disconnect and reconnect to not get kicked due to still kinda beign in the waitingline. You have to be quick about this and not wait till the game drops you. 9/10 times you get a slot since you are not the only one effected.

Yes, this is a definitely an issue. Have the devs acknowledge this?
