Best is probably the worst map yet, its historically so extremely inaccurate. Since when does my country have those kind of hills?? Were there even historical documents being used? Have you even done some research? It just doesn't belong with the rest of the maps.

Best is "almost" as flat as the rest of the Netherlands. If you want more different maps then go outside of the market garden idea. But don't do this please, one of the things I so admire of post scriptum is how accurate the maps are compared to the ones in real life.

We don't want a different challenge, we want the challenge of historical accuracy. They did the same with Arnhem and Velmolen. Velmolen is a suburb of Uden, where the 101st was, not the 82nd, and it didn't even see combat. Is Nijmegen or Horst too cliche?

I still enjoy it but the developers are always doing unnecessary sh*t like this thinking it enhances gameplay when it kind of does the opposite. It's basically a KOTH map with bunkers facing in pointless directions.

The thing is that historical accuracy, is impossible or atleast not fun. It would mean e.g:
- Fighting battles that are impossible to win
- playing e,g a look out in some building for a whole day
etc

in the end players want a game that is challinging, fun and somewhat fair. Hopefully in the constraints of a somewhat realistic setting.

This is a map like Velmolen that is catoring to a different type of player than most the other maps. I can see this map being well recevied in USA servers and much of the feedback ive heard in game has indicated as much.

PS has something for everyone. Some want US faction all the time. Some love AAS, some hate AAS, some want Offensive, small maps only, massive maps, tank modes, tickets, rally points, real maps, what if maps, a map with hills! etc etc etc.

Realism is a just a frame work to build the games environment around. It's not actually possible to make PS real! Its would ruin it if too much focus was placed on realism.

For maps like Best it's the challenge and discovery of a new landscape to fight over. Some complain maps are too flat, well it's the Netherlands of course its flat. PS gives us something different with the Best map and many players, not all, really enjoy it. We're all going to have our favourites and we are not all going to agree but there is something for almost everyone.

90% of my experience on this map is tanks sitting way out on the hills and shooting down on everyone.

Historicla correct or not, they game play in this " Best " map is the worst I ever played of all PS maps.
It so bad I stoped playing PS.

Its horrible in all ways, the design and game play.

Don't say you'll make a game around Operation Market Garden then if you are planning on putting non historical ♥♥♥♥ in there. It just show they are getting out of touch with their orginal idea.

We will keep you in mind Mr. Korean pickle when we want to know about the geography of Der Nederlande, But I cant shake the feeling you know more about NK than the netherlands.

Everyone on the Aussie servers seems to like it a lot, I sure get a kick out of it. It's nice to have some variety. Lets be honest, the terrain in the Netherlands is boring as ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. If it keeps the servers full I'm happy.
