Key Binding Issue?

Hey guys. having a problem with ONE key change. I want to switch from WSAD for movement to EDSF. the problem I have having is when i rebind the W key to E it will still have W as forward move as well and will not unbind. so when go to peak left i will peak and move forward at the same time. I have read another post of someone who had the same issue. So far i have taken these steps:

You CAN bypass this by editing your input.ini file yourself and adding those keys,

copy and paste this into your start menu:

%localappdata%\PostScriptum\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

hit enter
in the window that pops up find input.ini and right click it, open it with notepad.
Find the line that corresponds with your current keybind and replace whatever is currently bound with:

problem is if i go to open the one with "input" it comes up blank. In fact they are all blank except for "GameUserSettings" which doesnt have any key bindings. Anybody think they can figure it out for me? I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

What happened with this? I had the issue on the last free weekend and I am having it egain this time in April 2020.

I guess they're not fixing it, so I'm never even trying their game. Very nicely done. Interestingly, Squad doesn't have this issue, I don't think.

dunno if it helps, but I found rebinding keys that I had to make sure the key wasn't assigned to any other function in the settings otherwise it wouldn't work, once I removed the duplicate, the reassigned key was good to go.

Yeah, that doesn't help, the game re-assigns W to "move forward" automatically.

No one has reported this issue. Reassigning keys has worked fine for me, please log a support ticket with evidence and someone will investigate it. This thread is a year old so closing,
