Is this game still active?

I am a huge WW2 fan and the more i see screenshots of this game I want it more and more.
Is the player base still there and is it worth the price tag?

Not a huge player base, but certainly still there. Typical small but dedicated player base for a niche teamwork oriented combined arms title. EU prime time is the highest (around 1000 players give or take) but there's usually a minimum of a couple full servers even at the lowest points of the day.

Worth it is subjective, but I think PS is some of the best WW2 teamwork and VOIP coordination combined arms game play on medium/larger scale you'll find, outside of Arma.

I will add there are bugs but the dev team are very active and patch regularly. They add content with every patch and have a lot more planned so its future looks good.

Try it, if you dont like it you can refund within 14 days and less than 2hrs game play. You will need more than 2hrs to really get into it. It can be hard on new players but use a headset with mic - its a team game and using a mic you will learn faster, just say hi, say your new and players will help you.

Just picked up the game a week ago and essentially it's a squad reskin for WW2. Worth the 30$ in my opinion if you can find a group of people to play with who actually focus on the objectives and use their mics. Hence why i'm tagged up in a unit right now. I've found that teaming up with like minded individuals it's helped me learn the game a lot faster and is also more enjoyable. YOu get the co-op experience and learn a lot that way.

Yes. A game like this tend to have small, but enought numbers. Players are very dedicated and will make the game last for years!

Im in the server browser right now and there are 6 full servers with queues and 2 that are 80 percent full. Just jump on and enjoy. Ive never met a toxic player that i can remember and most of the time ive found people are willing to if not eager to help other players out.

Dont recommend it,the active player base are mostly clans,the english servers seem to always be full and you will be asked to leave 80-90% of the time,my experience with the game was horrible,and im really forcing myself to love it but i just cant,eu here btw,and what i am saying are old stats from a few months ago,but im pretty sure noting changed,most servers are also full of germans and french who never talk english.

Despite what other say, check servers during your play time in your region and language. You can do this by clicking VIEW, SERVERS, select PS. This is all through the steam interface.

I have the game 2 days and it was no problem to participate in Battles, to talk to Drill instructors and derping around testing grounds with others. And this in 3 different time zones.

Opinions vary across regions. US players must be having bad experiences more often because they tend to be more negative and/or cautious about recommending the game so it’s worth bearing that in mind. Most UK and EU players tend to recommend it and have better experiences. While I hear things have improved in the US region always take time to find a good community/unit run server to avoid cheats and badly behaved players. There are good servers in the US now and there is always a full server to play on during the prime time hours for your region.

I'm US and I highly recommend the game. My guys and I are playing almost every night 2000 EST time. Definitely worth the price.
