Please explain to me why Sherman doesn't explode with 3 rounds of 88 cannons?But he killed my tiger with two shells?

Where did you hit him? Each area has its own damage box so you might have hit him in a green zone (which does the least damage) and possibly he hit you in a red zone?

It's worth noting that this game doesn't seem to use APHE like germany used, so allied tanks are at a rather large advantage.

8,8 cm KwK 36 it has a very powerful ap, it should break Sherman with one or two hits...

The only way to 'destroy' a tank is by taking the health of the ammo down to '0'

It's a bit poor tbh, but that's what we've got at the moment.

the armor system just got overhauled in the patch today, i imagine it will be tweaked according to feedback

Thats NOTHING,

Me and 3 guys in the Panzer III last night , put 14 direct hits into a Cromwell (a surprise attack) from 400m long range across 2 objectives!!! I was guiding his shots with bino's and we saw spawling hits left and right, direct thuds into his turret, and only missed (once we fired 2 times to get on target) 3 times!! WE RAN OUT OF AP on him and switched to HE hoping somehow we weren't gonna lose the battle because of volume , and he finally put enough long range shots on us (about 12 misses or ground hits in front of us) and 4 directs (with us facing him) to blow up. . .

AT LEAST we should've knocked out his guns........

Well, a Firefly's 17 pounder would go through the Tiger's armour like butter, and vis versa. Maybe you hit the Firefly in a place where the shell penetrated without doing any real damage?

no this games armour is just broken as ♥♥♥♥. I've killed a tiger multiple times in one match with the short barreled sherman with the M3 Gun. It shouldn't even be able to penetrate the tiger at point blank with it's regular AP shell, and the tiger kept bouncing off our front and we took no damage, we would kill it in 5-6 rounds. This happened four times over the match.

I suggest you to play as a gunner of tiger or pzIV for 5 times,you'll probably know why sherman OP.QF17 is a nice gun for sure,but the armor of firefly and sherman M4A3 is too thick for tigers ,panthers,pzIV and stug III to penetrate and damage.

In the game yes, armor is wonked. however as it should be, the stug,pz,panthers,and tiger should all be able to penetrate the shermans pretty easily. even the Puma should be able to frontally pen them if we are talking realistically. Especially so since the game has all nations use straight up AP instead of the APHE germany used.
