How do i past on the squad leader role to someone else?

I'm new i played more Squad and it's different on how you do things and i want to know how do i give someone else the role of squad leader.

1. If you get that field promotion you should just leave the squad and join another, even if you're stuck as rifleman because it's still a better experience being a rifleman with a good squad and whoever you passed it to in the previous squad, he'll just pass it off to someone else and it's quite the circle jerk. It's the new trend in this game.

2. If someone is requesting it while you have it, press "Enter", right or left click on their name, not the box itself, but the name, and you'll see the submenu to promote. The devil is in your hands.

3. If you see the guy who promoted you is in a different role in your squad, repeat step 2 but instead of "Promote", do "Kick", and then repeat step 1 if needed.

4. I'm assuming you're innocent.

Yeah don’t ever start a section then pass the role of SL to someone else it’s not acceptable practice and many servers now ask players to report abusers to server admin where they can be kicked from the server and even banned for repeat offences. If you ever join a newly created section and the sl resigns very soon after you join and picks up a good kit first thing you should do is record their full name then report to admin. And if you’re the new sl make sure you kick the last sl to deny them The kit and discourage them from doing it again. If you let them get away with it the problem may get worse. Use F12 to get a screen shot of the offending player.

If you made SL because the last one left the game via a crash or had to leave suddenly and no one else accepted the role then try your best or find someone else to SL, failing that the section could disperse to other sections if they have room.

You change SL via the load out screen as Silky says above. Right click the player and promote or kick.

ok thanks. I'm just not the best squad leader so i want to make sure that i don't screw with the squad i'm with.
