Character look will depend solely on what units are in what maps.
Lmao funny thing about customization, it doesn't "♥♥♥♥ gameplay", gameplay = mechanics/stability, visuals are a whole other topic, some games even deal with the customization/vs no customization issue by creating different modes (like in some instances hardcore modes having visual customization disabled in some games)
Probably because some people want customization? gee, it's not rocket science, some people want it, some people don't, so some people buy game A and some people buy game B, that's it. "Or are you talking about battlefields immersive experience of having women running around with robotic limbs" Lol, what? where did i compare customization to realism? Sounds like you're desperately attempting to derail the topic just because i had a different opinion.
I praised post scriptum for looking like a impressive game while simultaneously expressing disappointment that a feature i would have liked won't be in it, meanwhile it seems that you will just entirely raild road bandwagon bash on a product (in this case battlefield V) just because it has a fictional character (in a fictional video game).
People want different things, and some people don't like being forced to play as default characters. It's an opinion, that's it.
I could come up with a list of reasonable customization options, but since apparently i'm getting a beat down for simply having given my opinion on the lack of a customizaiton option (even though i had still praised post scriptum for looking like it will be a impressive game instead of bashing the product as a whole in a laughable bandwagon campaign like people do to BFV) should i even invest the time and effort to cover all the various little visual customization options that could be featured while still fitting the setting if i'm going to get rail roaded by one sided arguments that have already decided against any form of character customization at all?
Considering it's going more towards realism, why would the army let its soldiers "customize" their uniforms?
Why are you even buying a game from EA considering how they treat their customers with utter contempt? Nobody cares what you look like in a game and it doesn't make the game play better because you want to wear pink wings on your back and space goggles :p
