Why do people queue instead of joining other servers?

I just commented that I noticed 20+ people queuing for one server, so I tried to populate another server (same region) from scratch. We got to about 30 people but I gave up after 1.5 hours. I exit the server and still see 15+ queuing for the fully populated server.

As I mentioned, it's not the lack of servers or players, just people with some patience. We could have twice-populated the other server, instead dozens of people prefer to queue. I must say it's very odd behaviour, especially as PS games tend to be quite long (and therefore require a rather long time commitment anyway).

because they have favourite servers that they like with familiar faces !

its that some servers have good players and others dont and the problem with the game at the moment is sololy the playerbases fault were most servers do not enforce comminucation with your team(the most importaint thing in this genra of game) or worst is the players who take up all the commanding spots and play the game like its cod and ♥♥♥♥♥ and yell at other sl who try to plan thats the problem the popular servers are always gonna be the ones with good connection noncunty admins and were the good players go to in general

Perhaps, but in this case it was the two best servers in the UK (40-1 and 2fjg), both are moderated excellently and people communicate well on both.

I get the best connection to the 506th server (40 ping) on 7 cav I have (160) and the U.K. and European ones exceed 250 for me

I am in the UK and manage really well on the Easy server but i tend to stick to the UK based servers.

I think people prefer full servers as they are reluctant to be (the only) SL.

Because most US players only get good ping on one or two servers, no one wants to play with 200 ping

Im in Texas, i played on the aussie server, had 350+ ping the whole time but never felt it. Give it a try

Same yesterday. People waiting over half an hour to join a game and we played 10vs8 on a big server. I don't get it. I rather join an half-full sever than waiting 20 minutes to join a full one.

I have also notice this why would you wait hours to get in a match than join another server than 20-30 or so players on it I would of thought in be more fun to do later.

I don't know, it makes literally no sense. By the time they get in they could have had half a game and helped to probably fully populate another server. Weird, innit!?
