A few mechanics I'm wondering about...
Game has been kinda silly fun for three generations now, but..... got a few questions.

1) Do future generations permanently get stronger? I noticed the starting +Talent/Turn seems to be higher for each generation. Does this mean eventually I'll have a super baby who is raking in stats like nothing? That eventually I'll have a middle schooler learning applied physics? (I know that's a stupid amount of stats, but hypothetically if I kept playing)

2) Is there anything that influences the RNG on learning traits? I had one generation run where my character failed to learn any Legendary traits (except for one) which meant I was unable to complete even the first Face Challenge. I kept trying to schedule things but my character just wasn't learning many of them.

3) Do stats have an influence on the final score in the Gaokao or is it simply the subjects you have learned?

4) Is it realistic to get to the end of a study skill tree? By the end of the game I was able to reach 10k+ stats, but there were still skills that cost 999 knowledge. Or is this connected to my first question where future generations get stronger and can eventually reach those heights?

5) If you fail to marry at the end, does your lineage (save file) just die?

The game is fun but a little unclear in some mechanics like that.

1. It seems so. The more talents unlocked the higher your next child's potential. On Gen 10 now and base stats are around 100+ each round.

2 Luck, Try not to overload your task list. Do each activity once per round. Give 2 entertainments per round. Study,Study,Rest,Study, Study, Rest. Some of the rest activities are better stat builders then some study choices. Magic Pencil box,Le go Blox, Colored Pencils. Badmitton are great. Once you unlock a talent its is easier to get it on the children. I am averaging 30+ talents each game.

3 Stats may but mostly Subjects learned. Charm seems very important for ending you get but very hard to train for males.

4. Yes if you do your memory map well you can get close to 500 knowledge a round. Writing, talent show, and class elections can net you 150 to 900 knowledge points a pop.

5. I have only married my choice once. After failing 2 80% I stopped worrying about it. Then got lucky on a 20% and got married. If you fail you get auto married to a default partner. The line must continue :P

1. They do get permanently stronger but it is unlikely you will get a super baby unless your are like 100 generations in, because it takes so many points to get the maxed out stuff. It does help a lot but more in that you can branch out a little rather than mastering everything. It takes a lot of resources to master everything.

2. Not really, though some actions give better traits than others, so obviously if you take only actions that unlock legendary traits, you have a better chance of getting a good one when it does happen.

3. I think it is just skills learned.

4. If you focus on one topic then it is possible. It is harder if you are trying to learn everything to max. Also one thing you can do, is stockpile knowledge. If you do that, then you can afford those 999 point skills. One of the reasons that you can't get a super baby with multiple generations, is probably because these skills are very difficult to unlock even with insanely high stats.

Also after you complete the core subjects, there are even university level subjects. I got one of those the last game I played and my parents told me not to waste my time on advanced math because it wouldn't be on the test.

5. You get a default marriage. Having a successful marriage just gives you a few stat bonuses to pass on plus both parents will have the nicer parent graphic rather than the default parent graphic. So it is nice to get married but doesn't hurt anything if you don't.

That said, I am not sure what happens if you end up going crazy from stress. I never had that happen.
