Windows
Location of saves for the 2.0.0.0 version:

Location of saves for the old 1.0.9.7 version:

FAQ
Q: Can I choose to have a girl or a boy?
A: No you can't, it's random. But if you open a new save slot, the genders of the first 2 generations must be different.


Q: Why Steam Cloud doesn't work after I switch between Win and Mac?
A: Sorry that due to the technical issue, to play the game on Win and Mac, you have to copy and paste the save data manually to maintain the progress, the path can be founded at the beginning of this post.


Q: Why the data has been overwritten after someone else plays the game?
A: The save data is kept only in your computer and the Steam Cloud. And the local save path of the save data is always the same no matter whose Steam account it is. So if someone plays the game after you, the later data will rewrite yours.


Q: Why it gives a black/white screen when operating the game?
A: This was due to resolution reasons. Please try hitting Ctrl+R to switch between window and fill-screen mode, and see if you can see the image. Or you can try using some tools to force the game to be windowed or full-screened.

If the above methods don't work, please accept our sincere apologies and ask for a refund via Steam customer services, as we cannot solve this problem by now.


Q: Why there is no music or sound in the game?
A: Please check if there is an audio software called Nahimic in your system, if so, please ban or delete this software before playing the game.


Q: Why it always generate a crush log when I try to play the game?
A: Please try rebooting your computer. If this happens too often to play the game, please accept our sincere apologies and ask for a refund via Steam customer services, as we cannot solve this problem by now.


Q: Why some texts are mislocated on Mac?
A: Due to some UI issue, Mac only supports 16:9 resolutions. Please switch to window mode if your monitor is not 16:9.


Q: Why my traits disappear?
A: Each trait has a valid period on the top right corner of the trait card, and will disappear after the end of valid period.


Q: Where to look back my family tree and the info of ancestors?
A: Please check the family tree function in the personal info. You can enter the personal info by clicking the button on the top left corner.


Q: What happens to the ancestors' info in the family tree if there are over 50 generations?
A: Only 50 generations' info will be kept in the family tree, and the info of the latest generation will replace the info of the first generation if there are over 50 generations.


Q: Why the game stuck/loses respond in the proposing scene in the end?
A: This was caused by broken JobMap.sav file, delete this file and this problem will be fixed. But remember to turn off Steam cloud in case the broken file is downloaded from the cloud again. Notice that deleting this file will also clear the data in the Profession Gallery.

Q: I'm playing the game and i saw online that there is a sixth skill in the Ninja tree called Advanced Way of the Ninja, but i cant seem to unlock it, anyone know what's going on with that?
