Stuck on loading asset screen

I was waiting for the new event, but event timer showed negative time. clicked on it and it game me the usual message of event later. Exited out and the game updated, but now I'm stuck at the loading screen with no loading of assets.

Its difficult to say why it is stuck on the loading screen. I don't see any activity from your game after getting the new version. What percent does the loading screen get stuck at?

1. Restarting Steam and your Computer might work.

2. Verify integrity of game files by right clicking the game in your library -> properties -> local files -> verify integrity

3. Clear cached files that might be causing the issue.
Delete files found in C:\Users\[Your Account]\AppData\LocalLow\Unity\WebPlayer\Cache\East Side Games_Trailer Park Boys Steam

AppData is a hidden folder, so you may need to change your PC settings to find it. OR you can type it in the file explorer bar and should be directed straight into it.

It was stuck at 0%. I tried everything in the list, and clearing the cache was the thing that worked.
